Support and Extension
   All children on entry to Vistara are assessed to identify
their level of achievement within the curriculum.
 
Support
   Children identified as requiring additional support, work 
with the Specialist Teacher on an individual program. 
The Classroom and Specialist Teachers work closely  
together in implementing this program. A grant for Support 
Teaching is applied for annually.

Extension
   Children identified as requiring extension work are offered 
learning activities which build on the classroom program in 
more depth. These activities broaden and extend the child’s 
learning, enabling them to work at their individual level within 
the Board of Studies curriculum stages.
